For safety reasons it is advisable to tie-up horses with a deliberate breaking point between a horse and the securing ring. However, finding a breakpoint that is certain to give way in an emergency is not easy. A loop of bailer twine is most commonly used, but can be extremely unreliable, and some twine is particularly strong.

Equitie solves this problem for you.

Its advanced design is sufficiently strong enough to secure a horse, yet should your horse panic, pull back or lose its footing, Equitie becomes an instant breakpoint, releasing your horse without injury.

Made of a flexible material, Equitie allows a certain amount of give, so if your horse does pull back he does not feel a hard resistance, instead just a gentle pressure which will help relax him.

Equitie can be used in your stable, yard, paddock or horsebox or alternatively if you enjoy stopping off on rides, Equitie is small and light enough to pop into your pocket and take with you, its adjustable length allows you to tie-up almost anywhere.

When travelling Equitie is quickly moveable with its easy release clip, so when you load your horse to travel home you can simply unclip Equitie from the side of the trailer and secure him inside with it. Due to its smooth surface Equitie is extremely nice to tie-up to, and makes releasing your lead rope so much easier.
